Fellow Fans from Various Fanbases Come Together to Discuss the Most 'Obnoxious' Fandoms They've Come Across Online

The best part of becoming a fan within a large fanbase is finding a welcoming community that shares your interest. It's about being able to connected with likeminded people and feeling a little less alone. Just chugging along life can often feel isolating, no matter who you are or what you are doing. So when you finally become part of a community, like through a fandom, it brings you a little peace. However, some of these fandoms have gotten out of hand. There are always the few crazed ones that have to be the "ultimate" fan. If you don't know every single deep cut, historical, metaphorical, whatever fact about this thing you are a fan of, then in their eyes, you are not a real fan and need to leave the fandom. It's extremely toxic and truly ruins the whole vibe of a community that was and could've still been beautiful.
